Whereas Tripura Sundari was mould in an astral romanticism, Bhuvaneshvari (Mistress of the World and also the 4th goddess of Mahavidya) attacks our tympanums with continuous rhythms on circling, variables and sometimes nevrotic sequences.

The echo of static prisms resounds under the wandering breaths of a morose synth. A heavy curved sequence whirls the atmosphere of a frantic rhythm, assorted of a superb suction alike percussions sequence which regularizes a tempo which undulates in the shade of moulding synth. ‘One Billion Light Years’ is an excellent title of Berlin School EM style. The rhythm is alive, frantic and evolves on multiple sequences which arc and intersect in a harmonious swirl. The synth surrounds sequential developments of a vaporous and mellotrons texture imprint of celestial choruses. A track to moderate evolutions, ‘One Billion Light Years’ takes a more hammering direction with a lead having Hindu savours, around the 12th minute point. The beat is more jerked and rolls on rattlesnake sounds percussions in a Middle-East soft techno. Still, the synth is free flowing and suggests a harmonious opacity which splits in several undulating waves, gradually slowing down the increasingly solitary sequences which are stifled by enveloping magnificently layers.

‘Tiamat’ plunges us in an arid cosmic universe where minimalisms tablas sequences hop against stream under invading galactic layers which imprison a nevrotic impulsion. A strange movement stuffed of psychedelic-spacey scratches to extraterrestrial tribal essences which accentuates its procession with increasingly spasmodic sequences. Sequences hurried to burst in this spacial and heteroclite atmosphere to dark choruses and lugubriously enveloping pads, creating a black hallucinatory harmony. The bursting is progressive and intensifies around the 26th minute on surging sequences in an arcade galactic ambiance to zombiesques waves.

A sequence of beautiful limpid and harmonious arpeggios crosses a sequence with a more stern tonality, moulding a beautiful cosmic ballet tinted of a flexible spiral movement which floats in a crystalline universe. On finely jerked sequences, ‘Alchemy of Life’ evolves in a romantic sphere girdled of an exhilarant synth to spinning undulations and to emanations vaporously metallic.

With its slow and languorous breath, ‘Profundis’ is melting in a cosmic sensuality on beautiful moulding layers and a timid sequence which hardly skim a delicate movement in hypnotic evolution, to hide in an overflowing sequence as spatial as astral.

Bhuvaneshvari is one surprising opus which mixes to perfection the atmosphere of Berlin School style on varied rhythms. Rhythms in constant permutations, which evolve with an influence subtly powdered for the Hindu culture. A superb album.

Alors que Tripura Sundari était moulé dans un romantisme astral, Bhuvbaneshvari (Maîtresse du Monde et 4ičme déesse du Mahavidya) assaille nos tympans avec des rythmes continus sur des séquences virevoltantes, changeantes et parfois névrotiques. L’écho des prismes statiques résonne sous les souffles errant d’un synthé morose. Une lourde séquence courbée tourbillonne l’atmosphčre d’un rythme frénétique, assorti d’une superbe séquence de percussions ventousées qui régularise un tempo qui ondule ŕ l’ombre de synthé moulant.

‘One Billion Light Years’ est un excellent titre de MÉ de style Berlin School. Le rythme y est vivant, frénétique et évolue sur des séquences multiples qui serpentent et s’entrecroisent dans un tourbillon harmonieux. Le synthé entoure les développements séquentiels d’une texture vaporeuse et mellotronnées de chśurs célestes. Titre aux évolutions nuancées, ‘One Billion Light Years’ prend une tournure plus martelante, sur un synthé aux effluves Hindoues, vers la 12ičme minute. Le beat est plus saccadé et roule sur des percussions crotales dans un techno modéré du Moyen Orient. Toujours, le synthé est coulant et offre une opacité harmonieuse qui se fractionne en plusieurs courants ondulants, ralentissant graduellement des séquences de plus en plus solitaires qui se laissent occirent par des strates enveloppantes et magnifiquement lyriques.

‘Tiamat’ nous plonge dans un univers cosmique aride oů des minimalismes séquences tablas sautillent ŕ contre courant sous des strates galactiques envahissantes qui emprisonnent une impulsion névrotique. Un étrange mouvement truffé de stries psychédélico-spatiales aux essences tribales extraterrestres qui accentue sa procession avec des séquences de plus en plus spasmodiques. Des séquences pressées d’éclater dans cette atmosphčre spatiale et hétéroclite aux choeurs sombres et aux strates lugubrement enveloppantes, créant une harmonie hallucinatoire noire. L’éclatement est progressive et s’intensifie vers la 26ičme minute sur des séquences houleuses dans une ambiance d’arcade galactique aux ondes zombiesques.

Une séquence de beaux arpčges limpides et harmonieux croise une séquence ŕ la tonalité plus grave, moulant un beau ballet cosmique teinté d’un souple mouvement spiralé qui flotte dans un univers cristallin. Sur des séquences finement saccadées, ‘Alchemy of Life’ évolue dans une sphčre romanesque ceinturée d’un synthé enivrant aux ondulations virevoltantes et aux effluves vaporeusement métalliques.

Le souffle lent et langoureux, ‘Profundis’ se fond dans une sensualité cosmique sur de belles strates moulantes et une séquence timide qui effleure ŕ peine un délicat mouvement en évolution hypnotique, pour se terrer dans une effusion séquencée aussi spatiale qu’astrale.

Bhuvaneshvari est un surprenant opus qui mélange ŕ la perfection les atmosphčres nébuleuses et métalliques d’un cosmos en fusion sur des rythmes variés. Des rythmes en constantes permutations, qui évoluent avec une influence subtilement saupoudrée pour la culture Hindoue. Un superbe album.
